I'm Kate. I'm a Buddhist monk, a yoga teacher, and a technologist who has spent the last decade building with AI. This show is where those lives meet.
We are living through extraordinary months. Artificial intelligence is advancing into territory nobody has mapped, and at some point we may stop calling it artificial. The decisions being made right now, in product roadmaps and research labs and boardrooms, are the building blocks of whatever our civilization becomes next.
There is an enormous body of wisdom that has been passed down from ancient times about how to meet a moment like this with clarity, humility and care. Whatever divinity means to you, whichever tradition you come from, I think that wisdom belongs in the room where AI is being built. Right now it mostly isn't.
So this show explores two threads.
One use of AI is getting people to click more ads and scroll a little longer. Another is discovering treatments that reduce the suffering of people we love, or putting a real education in front of every child, or restoring the ecological health of the planet. Product managers, builders and business leaders choose between these every week. I want to talk with the people making those choices, and about how to make them well.
Agents already reason, self-organize and create on their own, and the window for shaping what they're built on is getting smaller. How could models, agents, and whatever comes after them be infused with benevolence and spiritual integrity? There are living lineages of practice, and teachers alive today, who have something to say about that.
I've worked in technology for over a decade, the last several years almost obsessively with AI: bringing it into existing companies and their workflows, and building new things with it directly, hands on.
For nearly fifteen years I've also been studying and teaching yoga, philosophy, Buddhist meditation and mysticism. I'm an ordained Buddhist monk and a yoga teacher. Those two lives have been running in parallel for a long time, and this podcast is the place where I stop keeping them separate.
I'm also a mother of two young daughters, so I have skin in the future game.
And I'm the founder of Resōno, an impact metric intelligence platform. It's my own attempt at an enlightened use case for AI, and I'll be honest about what I'm learning from building it.

Resōno is the company I founded, and the most concrete answer I have to the question this show asks. It's an AI-native platform that gives investment professionals fiduciary-grade intelligence on how the money they steward affects the world: biodiversity, ecosystems, people. It works with the environmental and social data partners who actually measure those things.
If that's your world, here's where to go.
I read everything that comes in, but different people need different doors. Pick yours.
Resōno is built for you. The quickest path is a short conversation about your portfolio and the frameworks you report against, which you can request directly on the Resōno site. Or email me and I'll set it up.
Resōno partners with environmental, social and ecological data providers. Tell me what you measure and who uses it today.
Teachers, builders, researchers, product leaders trying to choose a better roadmap. A few lines is plenty.
Email is best for interviews, talks, retreats, and anything that doesn't fit the other doors.
